Komilov Erkin (Kurfa village, Andijan region) — People's Artist of Uzbekistan (1998). Graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Theatre and Fine Arts (1968). Actor at the Hamza Theatre since 1966. Best roles: Qilichbek ("Golden Wall"), Qobiljon ("Samandar"), Ibn Sina ("Beruniy"), Karl Moor ("The Robbers"), Jevakin ("Marriage"), Glumov ("Every Wise Man Stumbles"), Myasnikov ("Repression"), al-Zokir ("Piri Koinot"), Bayazit ("Sohibqiron Timur"), Ikrom ("Horizon"), Albani ("King Lear"), Abulfayzxon ("Abulfayzxon"), Ortiq ("Rare Copy"), Mannon Uygur ("The Show Goes On"), Garrison ("Seven Cries"), and others. By adding a unique color to the characters he creates, he achieves believable portrayals. His creative style is characterized by goodness, naturalness, the ability to convey a complex complex of hero's emotions and feelings, controlled power in the actor's character, intelligence, and the flourishing of inner culture.

He has played roles in videos and television films such as Aziz Qosimov ("Whirlpool"), Sultonmurod ("Alisher Navoiy"), Haydar ("Conscience"), Abdurahim Saidov ("Summer Rain"), Charles Forester ("Black Caravan"), Bachana ("Law of Eternity"), Abdujabbor ("Black Eyes"), Major Salihov ("Last Bullet"), Haydar (Kesak polvon) ("Shaytanat"), Shokir Ota ("Voice from the Seventh Heaven"). He played over 100 roles in the "Otalar soʻzi—aqlning koʻzi" program and participated in dubbing over 500 films (especially cartoons and fairy-tale films).
